Candidates should have diversified petroleum industry experience with at least 8 years in the drilling / completions equipment QA/QC inspection role.

Responsibilities

• Check, inspect and certify all third party drilling & completion equipment good to go to company rig site
• Review manufacturer's/ Supplier's QA & QC Systems.
• Review manufacturer's API Certificate(s), and verify all relevant certificates and licenses
• Perform visual body & thread inspection of drilling tools and tubulars and call out 3rd party inspection of OCTGs
• Witness and verify pressure test records/charts by supplier or third party inspection companies
• Identify and track equipment ready state and ensure constant QC enforcement
• Witness and ensure correctness in making up / dress off of tool assemblies as per OEM manuals prior sending offshore
• Perform damage evaluation for all rental tools equipment. · Review report and equipment history and track record from Vendors
• Train local or Company's Trainees as may be assigned by Company
• Ensure equipment processes are in place and submit detailed inspection reports

Qualifications/Experience

• Preferably a recognized degree in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent.
